Sears return policy states: "Our goal is that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, simply return your purchase in its original packaging, with your receipt within 90 days of your purchase for a refund or exchange. A 15% restocking fee applies on Lawn & Garden not returned in the original box, unused, and containing all original product packaging and accessories."
Bought a Sears Craftsman mower. Used it twice. The third time it would not start. Took it back to the Newnan, Georgia store within the 90 day period. They deducted $45.00 restocking fee + $71.89 repair charge + $44.99 unidentified charge. Was told by the local store manager that corporate does not control them as they are a retail dealer. Still waiting to hear from Sears corporate on this entire situation.
P.S. Our new Toro is guaranteed to start for 2 years!
