| I have had an account with Sears since 1976. I have paid my bill monthly since then and at times it has been paid off. I missed one month in March, 2007. I made arrangements with them to automatically draw $55.00 out of my checking account for April, May and June, 2007. I paid by check in July as usual. When I tried to go online on July 30, 2007, I couldn't log in. So I called Sears on July 31, 2007, and I was told that they had reviewed my account and decided that I was a risk. They revoked and closed my account on June 24, 2007. I did not receive a letter telling me about this. I had to find out over the phone. I am up-to-date on my payments. They know that I am on Social Security Disability. I think that I got a raw deal with them. |
