| Purchased Sears best water heater on Sun. If it is best I would hate to see worst. It does not produce enough hot water to both take a short shower & then shave. Installation guaranteed for Monday. (Actually installation guaranteed that day if purchased before noon.) Installer calls Monday morning & says will be installed between noon & 4:00 pm. When nobody there by 4:15 pm I call & get message it is after hours. Call Sears salesman who causes installer to call & say he is busy with another customer & will call when he finishes customer. Wife calls him & he tells wife he could get done with customer quicker if not talking to her. At 7:30 p.m. installer shows up & hooks up water heater by 9:20 p.m. but installation does not comply with codes & he has to come back next day to complete installation. Sears attitude is for me to go to h--l. They do not give courtesy of returning phone calls. They just do not give a hoot. I have 7 Sears appliances in house; no more from Sears. I just had to replace a $6000 central HVAC system & guess what - I did not call Sears. |
