I went in person to RAPID FENCING to view styles and arrange a quote for a STEEL SPEAR TOP FENCE after seeing a huge yellow pages ad-big mistake 1/ No display 2/ office door locked-forced to enter the workshop/machine area 3/ no assistance-then when the "manager-Mr Vozzo" was found-was hopeless at showing any design-no broshure,no product,no finials!! 4/ A dissorganised mess with no idea where anything was! 5/ no phone number taken!-why??
I explained what i wanted (found a piece to show aswell),left an area plan (of where to fence) and address of both where im living (3km from rapid) as well as the site to measure up (another house).
I waited for more than 3.5 weeks (not very rapid at all !!) only to find that they did not listen by quoting on a totaly different style!
I was so annoyed that i wrote a scathing letter outlining my experience so far-yet still gave them a chance to quote/ do the job worth $3000+ .....Instead i got a "smart arsed" phone call telling me to go to a competitor as i had indicated i would do-HE THEN told me i should learn how to spell!
OK-i may have had one, two or even three mistakes-id checked pretty well the old fashioned way-a dictionary !! But to come up with that in they're defence-HOW JUVENILE! It then occured to me that they had in fact used, yes, you guessed it-AN AMERICAN SPELL CHECKER which always has different spelling to Australia! They did not get the job,and for the record-it was "my fault" that i did not leave a phone number!!!(ok i forgot) If it were my business-and i stood to gain $3 grand+, id bloodywell make a point of getting it,quoting promptly and,ON THE RIGHT PRODUCT!!!! -Service-what service!(no reason why they cauldn't drop in the quote or come n ask if they had forgoten the style since i was so close to them-Bayswater to Wantirna)-I WOULD,its touches like that that would make a huge GOOD impression as one knows one is being looked after.............I SAY-DONT BOTHER WITH THEM!!!!( use shieldguard in mitcham,A++) |
