Just a word of warning-not to use "Gary Barnard" of "ALL ROOF REPAIRS "as advertised by a "line ad" in many local papers in Eastern melbourne.
He failed to replace broken tiles as promised,did a shody job on the bedding & pointing-very rough,demanded cash only & imediately , AND failed to turn up to rectify the problems when asked-denying any wrong doing!!Not suprisingly his home cant be found in the phone book! This was supposed to be a routine bedding& pointing job with replacement of the valley iron-i was not asked if i wanted colourbond either!
It is noteable that there is no standard required for one to start a roof tile business or mascarade as a "Qualified roof tiler"-these shonks are answerable to no-one!
I had to call a second contractor in from the more reputable"Grey Army" to replace 22 broken tiles that were ignored by that rougue!! Stupidly,due to my extensive work commitments,i was not on site to oversee the original job-nor inspect it after-i actualy trusted this shark from "ALL ROOF REPAIRS",i arranged for him to be paid by a third party $1500. only to find my roof continued to leak and birds had huge gaps in which to enter!!
No matter how good the quote-check them out first,also-there was no warranty or reciept issued!!His home number is 59672058,tell him what a shark he realy is!! |
