| I arrived at the Hotel with my itenerary confirmation number and all my information obtained from my "pre-paid" reservation and the attendant at the hotel said, she didn't have it. The only thing the attendant tried to do was find my reservation by last name or confirmation number and she still couldn't find it. The attendant said she didn't have any information to confirm it or a phone number to lodging to contact them to find out what the situation was. After letting her know that I had prepaid and that I had proof of payment and the information with confirmation of payment for my stay, she told me that if I wanted a room, I would have to pay again. It was awfully late and I couldn't afford to spend additional time looking for a new hotel. I paid for a second time and also ended up getting charged more than the first time. I asked if they had internet to contact lodging.com and the attendant said no. I asked if she was aware of who had any internet access and she replied "no". I spoke to Lodging before I checked out and they spoke to the Manager (Beverly) and she agreed to credit back the charge. When I was ready to check out, the Manager, Beverly, had misteriously gone out. The charge was not reversed and the attendant (Cynthia), wasn't allowed to do the reversal of the charge. I was furious and upset at that situation. It is now 2 days later and I haven't been able to contact the Manager and the charge is still on my account. The service in this Hotel is horrific and the Manager is obviously not responsible. She hasn't had the common courtesy to even call me to apologize or let me know what is going on. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone and I will make a point to let everyone in my family/friends circle never to stay at this place, since it's just not worth it. The stay here, ruined my vacation stay, and I don't wish anyone to go thru the same hassle. |
