I had some Emporio Armani jewellery pieces to auction on Ebay. After a week or so of listing, I was told by Ebay that my account had been suspended. I had been buying and selling since 2001 and had a 100% feedback record.
They refused to make it clear why I had been suspended and so I could not begin to put a case forward. If you do not know what you have done wrong, how can you make ammends?
They also notified my customers that they should not deal with me and my Paypal customers were also informed.
Now, they have sent me a bill for Final value fees and other auction fees, despite having suspended me and not allowed my auctions to finish.
They are a huge company and I now know that their regular, big traders can force smaller traders out.
What scumbags!
I now trade on ebid.co.uk and find their terms and sense of fairplay to be great.
My advice: boycott Ebay - you will get screwed by them sooner or later and they are truly faceless when you are in trouble. |
