On hold for more than 1 hour, 5 different phone calls, 3 different days and ATT still cannot solve my problem.

I called on Dec. 29th to port my Verizon LAN line to replace my ATT cell phone number. I waited patiently until January 7th. ATT rep told me that Verizon already released my LAN line to ATT so all ATT had to do was submit the request to replace my ATT cell number. ATT said to wait for 1 hour....for the new number to work.

1 hour later, I see my MPX200 SIM card with my LAN line number yipeee... I checked my account online, I see my LAN line number yipeee... then surprisingly, a friend called me and my LAN line rang.... what the hell is going on? I can make phone calls using my cell phone -(friends told me that the caller id says it is my LAN number).

So I called ATT and even called the PORTING dept directly. They all told me that they are still working on it. So why the heck they disconnected my ATT cell number without making sure that the replacement number was working fine. They already offered me a credit of 50.00 but still that's not the point. Anyone here have the same problem or can help me? I hope someone would file a class action lawsuit with their poor customer service history.
