| today for the fifth time i have had to contact va pharmicy for a prescriton for my husband. In the last two weeks I first contacted them to see if we could pick this drug up when we were down in dallas on the 27. we were told come into office and see since it was to be sent out on the 2. we went down there aand were told we couldn't pick it up and since we have a po box we need a physical adress. so I called gave them a physical address and phone number thinking it would be sent out the 1st. when it didn't show up on Monday. I called again. Oh they thought we were picking it up but since we weren't(it's ninetey miles one way) they would mail it. i called the telecare and ge whiz it was filled on 28. And had been sitting there all this time. They said they would send it right out. Guess what it is Thursday and still no drugs. I call again. Oh they don't have a address and it still is sittting. I gave them the info again. who knows if we will get it. But it makes me wonder since it's a controlled substance that somebody there isn't stealing it?? Several of hubby's prescription have taken a awful long time to get here. Like two to three weeks and other times two days? More black eyes for the VA??? Maybe somebody needs to look into since they are the one who put my husband in this situation. I think there is more scandal than Walter Reed. Oh yes we are not the fashionable desert storm or the current my husband fought in viet nam. Just becauses these Vets are aging, they still gave up a lot to keep us free and the goverment has pretended that there was little side effects because it instantly didn't show up or we were to dumb to realize what horrible problems it created |
